We seek to #movethedial through building awareness, inspiring action, galvanizing & amplifying collective community and corporate efforts, and through delivering high impact programs.

Our business is scaling rapidly and we need an an experienced, energetic, and data-driven Marketing professional to globally scale the #movethedial brand. The Marketing & PR Director will lead the development and execution of #movethedial’s marketing and public relations strategy, collaborate with senior leaders and be prepared to roll up their sleeves in the execution of marketing programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute #movethedial’s marketing strategy & lead marketing team
  • Lead brand awareness, corporate and product messaging, PR and social media, digital marketing and related MarTech, content strategy and creation, and marketing operations
  • Implement and manage the tools and technology necessary for a successful marketing department. ie. marketing automation tool, CRM software, CMS, etc.
  • Build processes and a scalable structure in the marketing department
  • Develop a measurement framework to capture and evaluate key marketing and business metrics that will help us measure program effectiveness and inform future initiatives
  • Understand industry, market, and community needs, identifying and prioritizing the biggest market and customer opportunities to drive partner/customer acquisition
  • Liaise internally with Business Development, Partnerships and Community leads to ensure cohesiveness and a unified approach
  • Research and track opportunities for #movethedial presence and partnership (conferences, summits, speaking opportunities / panels, etc)
  • Build and manage marketing team (2 Direct Reports at present, likely growing to 4 by end of 2019)

Requirements

  • You are passionate about making a difference!
  • You have proven success leading the marketing and PR for a brand / product / company
  • You have a successful track record in Marketing/PR at a high-growth technology company (B2B & B2C experience preferred)
  • You have extensive B2C online and digital marketing experience
  • You have outstanding communications skills with a great reputation for communicating complex ideas and concepts with simplicity, power, and impact
  • You have experience across the full range of marketing functions (content, digital, automation tools, events, PR, product, etc.)
  • You have a combination of start-up experience and larger company experience
  • You are extremely data driven – proven experience leveraging data in decision making process
  • You have attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and superior time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • You have a high impact personality; highly energetic and enthusiastic
  • You have a “hands-on” operating style and approach, but a view towards the future and willingness to invest in people development and in developing an organization
  • You have demonstrated success in attracting talent, building great teams, and designing high impact organizational models
  • You have experience working within social media platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • You have experience analyzing web results with Google Analytics/Moz/GShift, etc.
  • You have experience with Hubspot or other marketing automation tools
  • You have a working knowledge of Content Management Systems
  • You have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
  • You have experience leveraging media and PR channels
